Career

Rodríguez took over the street taco stall his father, a former butcher, opened in Hermosillo on 11 September 1986, at a time when the business was losing ground to franchise competitors. After conflicts with the municipality over the stall, he rented a vacant lot, borrowed money to build bathrooms and improvements, and opened a restaurant on 15 December 2004, learning to hire and manage staff as he went. His approach centers on premium beef such as rib eye and New York strip grilled over charcoal. The restaurant was featured in Netflix's Las crónicas del taco.
