Overview

Clandestino is located at 175 North Palm Canyon Drive, Suite 160, in downtown Palm Springs. Locale Magazine reports that it is owned by Liz and Mark Ostoich, who also run Tac/Quila, with Gustavo Carreon as chef.

The menu listed by Locale includes fried squash blossoms, cochinita pibil, battered sole tacos, chipotle shrimp tacos and carne asada tacos.

Notes

With Tac/Quila a few blocks away, Clandestino forms part of a small group of modern Mexican restaurants on Palm Canyon Drive run by the same owners. Locale Magazine included it in its 2026 list of the area's 20 best restaurants for tacos and tequila. Sources do not give its opening date.
