Tac/Quila is a modern Mexican restaurant on North Palm Canyon Drive in Palm Springs, California, known for house-made tortillas, grilled lobster tail tacos and a large tequila and mezcal list.

Overview

Tac/Quila is located at 415 North Palm Canyon Drive in downtown Palm Springs. Locale Magazine reports that it is owned by Liz Ostoich, an attorney turned restaurateur, and her husband, Mark, who also run the nearby Clandestino; Tasting Table calls it the sister restaurant of Farm.

The menu mixes street food and upscale dishes. Tasting Table lists a ceviche stack of white fish, shrimp and octopus, avocado tempura in a house-made tortilla, aguachile oysters, grilled lobster tail tacos and a churro ice cream sandwich; Locale adds birria and short rib tacos. The bar carries more than 45 tequilas and 16 mezcals.

Recognition

Tasting Table says the restaurant is recognized by the MICHELIN Guide, and Locale Magazine reports three consecutive years of Michelin Guide inclusion. Tasting Table also notes a 2024 OpenTable Diners' Choice award.
