Overview

Chilango chose Tacos Tony to represent the Del Valle, Narvarte and Nápoles zone, citing nearly twenty years of experience and long hours. Its specialty is suadero cut in chunks, well seasoned and served with vegetables, and the campechano (mixed meats) is the other popular order. The magazine gave the address as Torres Adalid 1702.

Chilango's separate list of thirty essential taquerías also included Tacos Tony, adding lengua (tongue) to its strengths and describing three salsas: green, red and a cooked green salsa with habanero. That list noted the stand accepts cash only.

Context

Chilango's 2023 feature En busca del taco más chilango chose one representative taquería for each of fifteen zones of the capital and its suburbs, favoring neighborhood spots over viral ones.
