Overview

Taquería Juárez is at Galeana 123 Norte in central Monterrey. México Desconocido's 2026 guide to Monterrey tacos describes it as one of the city's most long-established taquerías but gives no founding date.

The taquería is known for enchiladas de queso fresco and also serves several kinds of tacos.

Its downtown neighbors in the same guide include Tacos Primo, a bistec specialist on Martín de Zavala, and Taquería La Mexicana on Vicente Guerrero, known for steamed tacos. Downtown Monterrey has a cluster of older taquerías that mostly serve office workers and market shoppers, and México Desconocido treats them as a counterpart to the newer trompo concepts of San Pedro Garza García.
