Tres de Lengua

From WikiTacos, the taco encyclopedia · Taquería

Tres de Lengua is a taquería in the old town center of San Pedro Garza García, Nuevo León, known for barbacoa, lamb and tongue.

Overview

Tres de Lengua is at General Porfirio Díaz 426 in the Casco Urbano, the historic center of San Pedro Garza García, in the Monterrey metropolitan area. It received many votes in the PLAYERS' Restaurant's Choice 2023, and PLAYERS of Life included it in two 2024 roundups of Monterrey taquerías. One presented it as a good place for celebrations.

PLAYERS of Life calls barbacoa its signature dish. The taquería also serves lamb (cordero), suckling pig (lechón) and beef tongue (lengua).

Lengua is one of the most prized taco meats in northern Mexico; it is slow-cooked until tender, then peeled and sliced or chopped.

Both PLAYERS of Life roundups grouped it with Tacos Atarantados, Los Tecatacos and Americana, all in San Pedro Garza García or nearby.
